Wuthering Waves 3.6 Banner Schedule: All Phases, Dates & Weapons

The schedule at a glance

The official Version 3.6 update content, published August 18, is the first place the phase split appears with exact times. All times below are server time (UTC+8), the clock the game's own notices use.

The patch itself runs to "before maintenance" on September 30, so the last week of 3.6 has no limited banners at all. Plan your spending around the September 29 cutoff, not the patch end.

Phase 1: Qingxiao and Denia (Aug 20 – Sep 10)

Phase 1 opens with the server restart after the August 20 maintenance (04:00 to 11:00 UTC+8, per the official maintenance notice). Four convenes run side by side:

Two details stand out. First, the update content names Sanhua as the featured 4★ on Qingxiao's banner, so the 10-pull pity window on Wind of Transcendence will keep feeding you copies of her alongside Qingxiao. Second, Qingxiao's kit numbers still have not been published anywhere official, and the wiki page for her signature weapon Glint of Clouds does not exist yet. Expect the full numbers in the patch notes when 3.6 goes live, not before. If you want to read her kit before committing, you have until September 10 to decide, which is a comfortable window.

Denia's rerun is the other half of Phase 1. She is a Fusion Rectifier whose banner carries Forged Dwarf Star alongside her, a Crit. Rate rectifier released with her in May. If you skipped her in 3.3, this is the comeback window; no third rerun has been announced.

Phase 2: Jingran, Hiyuki, Mornye (Sep 10 – Sep 29)

Phase 2 starts exactly one minute after Phase 1 ends: September 10, 10:00 server time. That locks the previously unconfirmed date at September 10, close to the "roughly 20 days per phase" estimate the 3.5 pattern suggested. Six convenes run in this phase:

Jingran is the second new character of 3.6 and, like Qingxiao, his kit numbers are not out yet. The good news: his banner opens three weeks after the patch, so you get to see how Qingxiao's and Jingran's numbers actually play out in the live game before spending anything on Phase 2. Use that window.

One pattern jumps out of the roster: three of the five characters in 3.6 are Fusion users (Denia, Jingran, Mornye). Qingxiao covers Aero and Hiyuki covers Glacio. If your account is short on Glacio damage, Hiyuki in Phase 2 is the rerun to budget for; if you already own her, Phase 2 is mostly a Jingran decision.

What the dates mean for your pulls

The banner rules do not change between phases, and they are the ones this site has covered in detail elsewhere. A Featured Resonator Convene works on a 50/50 with hard pity at 80 pulls and soft pity starting around pull 66; your pity count and a lost 50/50's guarantee carry over between character banners of the same type, across phases and across versions (see the pity system explained and how the 50/50 works). One pull costs 160 Astrite, so a character at hard pity is 12,800, and the worst case after losing the 50/50 is 160 pulls or 25,600. For reference, a fully active F2P account earns roughly 10,900 Astrite per patch, about 68 pulls (Astrite per patch), so one guaranteed character is more than a patch of saving.

Weapon banners skip the 50/50 entirely. The official materials mark every Featured Weapon Convene "100% GUARANTEE": every 5★ you pull is the featured weapon, pity stays at 80, and the currency is Forging Tide (full mechanics in the weapon banner guide). A signature weapon at hard pity costs the same 12,800 Astrite, no coin-flip involved.

If Qingxiao and Jingran are both on your radar, you do not have to choose now. Phase 1 lasts three weeks, both kits will be public by patch day, and Phase 2 does not open until September 10. If you are saving for a rerun instead, Denia is the only Phase 1 rerun; Hiyuki and Mornye both land in Phase 2.

Around the banners

A few non-banner things share the same dates. The August 20 maintenance pays out Astrite x300 and Crystal Solvent x2 to anyone who created a character and unlocked the Mail feature before August 20, 04:00 (UTC+8), claimable until the next version update (see the 3.6 patch day guide). The 7-day login event Gifts of Drifting Mist hands out Radiant Tide and Lustrous Tide, the two convene currencies, from patch day to September 29; the exact daily quantities are not published. Resonance Sim Realm, the combat event with the "Resonance! Best Combo" title, starts August 22.
