Wuthering Waves 3.6 Phase 2 Events: Fogveil Pagoda & Deadlines

Every 3.6 event still live in Phase 2, with dates, Union Level gates, Fogveil Pagoda rewards and the September 29 deadlines.

What is still running as of September 17

Phase 2 opened September 10 and the patch closes out at the end of the month. Six events are still on the board, and one of them, the Fogveil Pagoda exploration event, started this morning. Everything below comes from the official patch notes and the Phase 2 poster Kuro published September 8. Where a source gives no number, I have not invented one.

Already gone: Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception, which ran August 27 to September 14. If you skipped it, that one is not coming back before 3.7.

Two deadlines, eight hours apart

Almost everything in 3.6 ends on September 29 at 03:59 server time. Resonance Sim Realm runs to 11:59, and the Phase 2 convenes share that later cutoff. On the last day, clear event claims first and pull second, because the events close eight hours before the banners do. Leave your survey points and co-op rewards for a final session at noon and they will already be gone.

The nearest deadline is not September 29 either. The Strings Remember ends September 21 at 03:59, four days out. It is the quiet one, a leisure event tied to the qin Qingxiao hands you during the 3.6 story, easy to miss because nothing about it is combat-related. Open the event page, claim what is sitting there, move on.

Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda

This one started at 04:00 server time on September 17 and runs to the September 29 cutoff. The gate is Union Level 14, the lowest of anything in Phase 2, so a fresh account that finished Huanglong can play it.

The structure matches every previous Wuthering Exploration run, per the wiki's event page: the Pioneer Association hands out two survey tasks a day, those tasks feed Survey Points, and Survey Points unlock milestones. Tasks refresh at 04:00 server time. Unclaimed Survey Points are claimed for you at the refresh, and milestone rewards you never picked up are mailed out if you log back in within 30 days, so forgetting a day is survivable. The window is only 12 days and two tasks a day is a hard cap, which means starting late costs you milestones rather than convenience.

Official rewards, from the Phase 2 poster: 800 Astrite, Premium Tuner, Premium Sealed Tube, and Premium Modifier. At 160 Astrite per pull, the Astrite alone is five pulls.

Careful with the name: Fogveil Pagoda is a 3.5 area, in the Eastern Xuan Peaks of Huanglong. The terrain has been in the game since July. What is new for 3.6 is the exploration event held there, so do not go looking for an unlocked new zone.

If Dreams Still Reverberate

This is the Phase 2 co-op combat event, running September 10 at 10:00 to September 29 at 03:59. The gate is the strictest in the patch: Union Level 22, plus activating the Four Chime Shaftpost during the main quest "The Wind Before the Storm." That quest line shipped in 3.5, so returning players will have it done and newer ones may not have reached it at all. If you are under Union Level 22, this event is not something you can grind toward in the next twelve days at a reasonable pace.

Mechanically, the poster describes a co-op fight where you pick Support Echoes to prop up your team's combat output, closer to a raid buff than a solo challenge. The framing is Somnoire: the Ivory Gatekeeper sends an SOS because the gate you once sealed has reopened and the Nightmares are loose again.

Rewards listed on the poster: Astrite, Premium Tuner, Forgery Premium Supply - Lahai-Roi, Premium Resonance Potion, and Premium Enclosure Tank - Land of Xuanfang. Kuro printed no quantities there, and I am not going to guess at them. Both supply crates are region-flavoured material selectors, which matters if you are still building Jingran or Qingxiao.

Chord Cleansing: the one worth protecting waveplates for

Chord Cleansing runs September 22, 04:00 to September 29, 03:59, and the gate is Union Level 19. This is the recurring double-drop event for Tacet Suppression fields, and the rules are: three doubled reward claims per day, refreshing at 04:00 server time, visible on the event page as "Double Drop Attempts Today: X/3."

Run the numbers first. A Tacet Suppression claim costs 60 Waveplates and daily regeneration gives you 240, so the three daily claims (180) fit inside a normal day with 60 to spare. Over seven days that is 21 doubled claims, or 42 runs of loot for 21 runs of waveplates, 1,260 Waveplates if you claim every day. Crystal Solvents restore 60 each and never expire, but the three-a-day cap makes hoarding pointless.

What doubles: Echoes and echo development materials, plus Union EXP and Intimacy. What does not: Astrite. The Astrite on these fields is a one-time first-clear bonus of 20 per unique field, per the wiki, and Chord Cleansing does nothing to it. This event is about builds, not about funding pulls. If your Echo farming is behind, it is the best week of 3.6 to fix that.

The Phase 2 banners, and what changed from Phase 1

All six convenes close at September 29, 11:59 server time, and the phase notice confirms the featured 4-star lineup is the same across all three character banners: Mortefi, Aalto and Yuanwu. That matters if you are chasing copies of any of them rather than the 5-star.

Absolute Pulsation: Starfield CalibratorStarfield Calibrator (Mornye's signature)Sep 10, 10:00 – Sep 29, 11:59

Three notes from the official Phase 2 notice. First, the weapon banners guarantee the featured weapon: the 5-star you pull is Thousandfold Deliverance, Frostburn or Starfield Calibrator, with no 50/50 to lose. Second, each featured 5-star's Waveband is in the Afterglow Coral store at a limit of two purchases, and both disappear when the banner ends. Third, if you are close to pity, character-banner pull counts carry across all Featured Resonator Convene events, so anything you spent on Qingxiao or Denia still counts toward Jingran, Hiyuki or Mornye.

At 160 Astrite per pull and an 80-pull hard pity, a guaranteed 5-star costs 12,800 Astrite, and losing the 50/50 on a character banner pushes the worst case to 25,600. If that math is new to you, read up on how pity works and the 50/50 before you commit. The phase bundles reset with each phase, so anyone who bought in Phase 1 can buy again.

How much Astrite is genuinely left in 3.6

Two events in Phase 2 pay Astrite with published numbers: Fogveil Pagoda at 800 and Resonance Sim Realm at 1,200. That is 2,000 Astrite, or 12.5 pulls, plus whatever Gifts of Drifting Mist has paid out over its login days, which Kuro has never itemised. For the full patch picture, our astrite per patch breakdown tracks F2P income patch by patch.

One forward-looking note, labelled as expectation rather than announcement: 3.5 ran July 10 to August 20, a six-week cycle, so 3.7's maintenance is likely in the early hours of September 30. Kuro has announced nothing, so plan against the September 29 cutoff.

FAQ

Do I need to finish the 3.6 story to play these events?
No. Fogveil Pagoda asks for Union Level 14 and Chord Cleansing for Union Level 19. Only If Dreams Still Reverberate has a main quest requirement, and the quest it wants ("The Wind Before the Storm") is 3.5 content, not 3.6.
Should I stop farming Tacet Suppression until Chord Cleansing starts?
Yes, unless you are capped on Waveplates. You can only claim three doubled rewards a day during the event, so banked waveplates are only worth having for the first day or two. Spending the surplus now and going into September 22 near the 240 cap is the cleaner plan.
Does Chord Cleansing give double Astrite?
No. It doubles Tacet Suppression drops, which in practice means Echoes, echo development materials, Union EXP and Intimacy. The Astrite tied to those fields is a one-time first-clear reward of 20 per unique field and doubles for nobody.
What if I miss the survey rewards in Fogveil Pagoda?
Unclaimed Survey Points are auto-claimed at the daily 04:00 reset, and unclaimed milestone rewards are sent to your in-game mail, where they stay available if you log in within 30 days of the event ending. Missing a day is survivable. Missing a week is not, since every account gets the same capped two tasks a day.
